Trips- Book day trips in advance, Alcatraz should be booked at least a month in advance to avoid disappointment. If you want to go whale watching, there is nowhere better than San Francisco for this and can do this for most of the year, avoiding Mid-November to mid-December for this trip. Depending on when you visit, you will see different species of whales!
Weather– Expect fog and wind whilst in San Francisco. The rainy season typically runs from November until April, with September and October typically being the city’s warmest months.
