Alberta Falls Why not hike to Alberta Falls? This moderate trail is about 1.7 miles round trip and rewards you with the sight and sound of a beautiful waterfall. It’s a great spot for a picnic whilst you take in the stunning surroundings.
Emerald Lake Trail For those looking for more of a challenge, the Emerald Lake Trail is a must. This 3.6-mile round-trip hike takes you past Nymph Lake and Dream Lake before reaching the stunning Emerald Lake. The trail is relatively moderate, but the views are worth every step!
Estes Park Aerial Tramway Don’t miss a ride on the Estes Park Aerial Tramway to the top of Prospect Mountain. The views of Estes Park and the surrounding mountains are amazing. Plus, there are friendly chipmunks at the top eager for treats (just don’t feed them!).
From Estes Park to Grand Lake
Old Fall River Road Take the scenic Old Fall River Road to the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park. This one-way dirt road climbs up to the Alpine Visitor Centre with incredible views along the way. It’s a slower, more intimate experience with the park’s rugged beauty.
