Benidorm is one of the most accessible-friendly resorts in Spain, with many hotels, restaurants, bars, shops and clubs equipped to cater for guests with disabilities. There are many places in Benidorm to rent an electric scooter if needed. The beaches of Benidorm have 3 accessible spots, Levante Beach, Poniente Beach (Mont Benidorm Avenue) and Poniente Beach (Elche Park). These beaches are equipped with walkways and beach wheelchairs to enjoy the water, trained lifeguards are on hand to assist with this. The beaches also offer access ramps, adapted changing rooms, toilets and accessible shaded areas.
Manual and electric wheelchairs can be used in and around the hotels in Benidorm, however mobility scooters are not allowed in the hotel grounds due to health and safety. If you have a blue badge, it is recommended to take it with you on holiday.

With the step-free shower rooms, there are turning spaces next to the bed, light switches and plug sockets at a recommended height. There is a transfer space next to the toilet, lever mixer taps and grab rails in the ensuite. There are 2 rooms with a wheel-in shower, offering plug sockets and light switches at a recommended height, however no space for a wheelchair user to turn next to the bed. This resort is slap bang in the middle of the centre of Benidorm, 900m to Levante Beach and 400m to the centre. It offers a lagoon-style pool surrounded by palm trees and a heated indoor pool, along with entertainment day and night and a health centre.
This mostly accessible resort with step-free level pathways and slight slopes has 4 adapted rooms, furniture cannot be moved to enable a turning space next to the bed. The ensuite has grab rails, a transfer space next to the toilet, room to turn and a wheel-in shower with a portable shower seat. The access into the water of the swimming pool is via 5 steps with a central handrail and also has a hydraulic hoist available.
